Holy Week Resources
We're travelling Holy Week this year like never before, unable to come together to share our journey and our worship together. All the services we had planned are not taking place, but there are some resources below to help us travel together our journey with Jesus as he approaches his cross.
Bishop Nick is providing a very short meditation each day, and you can listen to this at: https://www.leeds.anglican.org/easter-2020/bishop-nick .
Two services of the Stations of the Cross led by Fr Tim over the last two years from Wakefield are available on youtube:
The handouts from the Lent Study guides that we began together are still available on the home page of this website, and for those who haven’t already looked at them, working through these five handouts would be another way to travel this Holy Week through the wisdom of Rowan Williams, whose excellent book “Being Christian” is what the Lent groups were based on.
We were all looking forward to sharing in Tenebrae together.
Fr Tim has recording this service which is available here.
Simply click on the play button to play the video.
You can also expand it to fill your whole screen
with the button at the bottom right.
Although no order of service is required, a short document can be found by clicking here for brief details of the service and the words of the music.
Services will be streamed during Holy Week and Easter, including:
Maundy Thursday Mass at 7.30p.m.
Good Friday service at the foot of the Cross at 2.30p.m.
Easter Sunday Mass at 10.00 a.m.
If you would like to be a part of these services please contact Fr Tim for the link to join on.
