All Saints' Churchyard Trail

Did you know?
You're now at the main entrance to All Saints' Church. There has been a church here for nearly a thousand years, and this current building is over five hundred years old.
Inside, some of the original wood
and stonework is even older than
the church! The oldest thing inside
the church is the stone altar at the
very East end.
Why not try...
How many stones have been used to make the arch around the door? How do you think the stones were lifted to make the arch?
Have a look...
If the church is open, come in and have a look, or if there is something going on, why not stop and listen? If the church is closed, look at the noticeboard to see when we might be open next - we would love to welcome you in and show you around.
What next?
Turn back to the junction you have just passed, where the path goes around the front of the church. Follow this path and the next QR code is on your left.
